Chelsea has always been of interest to me.
Grab shot on the way to frying pan, with Kris Ambrose to prospect it as a musical venue.
My earliest memories, begin with a trip to Wo Hop, with my best friend David and his Dad, Morris. Morris was the captain of City College’s basketball team, when he was in school, we stopped off at Mcburney Y, where he visited his old friend who worked as a trainer at the Y. After a long time, their visit ended, but not before David and I were waiting on the sidewalk in front of the Y.
He pointed out the big building across the street. Maybe, I’ll live in that building one day & today I do. Morris came down, we walked the block, with a pit stop at the restaurant on the corner. Down to Wo Hop, for this guy’s first Chinese lunch. When I think of this memory, and think of how little Wo Hop has changed, I begin to think, are the changes in Chelsea good, but of course that is not for one person to decide.
